Fear of harm is reasonable, but if the attacker starts to physically assaults you and there is no way to defuse or get away, surrender the things they’re getting from you rather than fight and remember that nothing you own is worth more than your life. But to really defend yourself, learn ahead of time how you can fight back effectively even when your opponent is way bigger or stronger than you.

The body parts to hit

Before the aggressor gains full control of you, you must at least try to do everything you can to inflict injury or to escape. Aim for the parts of the body where you can do most damage easily:

  • Eyes
  • Nose
  • Ears
  • Neck
  • Groin
  • Knee
  • Legs

Those are the body parts that are most sensitive when hit.

To maximize damage against your opponent, here are the body parts that are mostly used:

  • Your elbows
  • Your knees
  • Your head

You can also make use of the things that you always carry with you, or the things in your environment as your weapon. Holding a key or a pen while you’re walking especially when you’re alone can help for assurance. If you are outside, you can throw out dirt like soil or sand in your opponent’s eyes. Perfume can be a weapon too, as you will just simply spray it right into the aggressor’s eyes.

This may sound funny but watching action movies such as Bruce Lee’s and Jackie Chan’s movies can do a great help as they are using everything in their place when they are caught in trouble. Remember, the whole point of this is that you will use everything you can to make your defense stronger.
